Hi, I’m Maria Tubbs, the heart and mind behind Little Giggles Daycare.
This dream started with a deep love for children and a passion for creating a safe space where they feel loved and are allowed to freely explore. My vision is simple: to offer a warm, enriching environment where every child is valued, supported, and inspired to grow through play, learning, and lots of giggles along the way.
With years of hands-on experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, I bring not only a loving heart but also professional training to the table. I hold Child Development units, a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential, and certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Mandated Reporter training. I'm also well-versed in licensing standards, emergency preparedness, and creating individual child profiles to provide personalized, high-quality care.
As a bilingual caregiver, I’ve had the joy of working as a Spanish Immersion Assistant Teacher at a Montessori school in San Francisco. That experience helped shape my approach to respectful, child-led care rooted in curiosity and kindness. I believe in the power of Spanish immersion to expand children’s minds and cultural understanding from an early age. I treat each child with patience, respect, and warmth, just like family.
It’s my joy to support children and their families during these important early years of learning and discovery.
